Simple, delicious, and barely made it through the photo shoot. It’s funny how combining a few, simple ingredients can create some of the most flavorful, and memorable dishes. These vibrant roasted cauliflower florets won me over before I even took them out of the oven! The scent of roasted garlic, parmesan cheese, roasted lemons emanating from the kitchen was enough to make even the most seasoned food lover swoon.
That’s been my goal with all the sides I’ve been whipping up later. Enticing your senses—sight, smell, and sound—cumulating with an explosion flavor. None of theses recipes are arduous or complicated and yet they impress. If you’re interested take a look at my Maple Roasted Carrots or Chili Oil Potatoes!
When creating a delicious dish with a few ingredients quality is paramount. This bright head of yellow cauliflower caught my eye at the farmer’s market. I sought out organic fresh thyme, and lemons, and garlic as well. I used real Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese—it’s worth the extra money I promise. Using the best ingredients I could find is what makes this dish special. It’s what had me picking at it and eating bits and rearranging throughout the whole shoot because I couldn’t help myself. This is how I know I’ve made something good!
